Training:
Being a dad is the most challenging, complex and important task
for a man. Yet, 99.5% of all dads have received zero hours of training
in being a dad... Fathers need to be trained in the basics of fatherhood.

To make key commitments of the heart to their children

Ongoing encouragement and practical tips throughout their fathering

GREAT DADS MEETS EACH NEED
Training:
Every dad develops his own personally authored "Action Plan
for Being a Great Dad" at the seminar.
Encouragement:
Provides the dads the Great Dad quarterly newsletter filled with
practical tips, small group ActionTeams, the best fathering resources,
inspiring fathering success stories, and a comprehensive fathering
website

seminar “The 6 Basics of Being a Great Dad”
• 2,000 of these fathers are incarcerated dads
• 500 are African-American dads in the inner city and urban
communities of Washington, DC
• 11,250 children this year are receiving a Commitment Pledge
from their dad
